Guided Tours
Dream Seaker offers guided boat tours featuring our scenic cruise of the beautiful, historic Les Cheneaux Islands.

Les Cheneaux Island Tour -
Just 28 miles NE of the Mackinac Bridge is a chain of 36 islands known by the French name of Les Cheneaux, meaning, "the Channels." For centuries, Indians canoed through these channels especially when gales made passage along the Lake Huron shore dangerous. The Indians were followed by French Fur Traders, logging schooners and fishing boats. Beginning at Hessel Bay (Home of the first Chris Craft dealership), the tour winds through Snows Channel, passing LaSalle Island into Government Bay; then past Coryell and Boot Island. Next in view is Strongs Island, owned by Charlie Winn, founder of Four Winns Boat Company. Today, visitors to the Les Cheneaux Islands enjoy boating, kayaking and viewing the abundant natural beauty and wildlife - eagles, osprey and ringbill gulls. Near the outside edge of the islands site Martin’s Reef Lighthouse, built in 1927 to warn travelers of a reef connecting the Straits and St. Mary’s River. At the end of the tour, you will agree with the Nature Conservancy, which calls Les Cheneaux "one of the last great places where natural systems are still largely unsullied."

Tour lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours.
