North Wind Books may be the most interesting small bookshop in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Part of Finlandia University, North Wind Books is much more than a traditional university bookstore. Special book collections feature Finnish, Great Lakes, and Upper Michigan history and literature, and related topics including maritime history, copper mining, Native Americans, nature, and the environment.

An entire room of the charming bookshop is dedicated to quality children’s picture books and young adult fiction. And a large selection of trade paperbacks will satisfy even the most discriminating adult fiction or non-fiction reader.

Don’t miss the many author book signings hosted by North Wind Books. Autographed books by many well-known contemporary authors are available for purchase.

North Wind Books is also the official textbook outlet for Finlandia University. Class books and materials can be purchased at the on-campus store or online at www.finlandia.bkstr.com

The Lion’s Den is the official retail outlet for Finlandia University and Finlandia Lions logo merchandise. Items include complete collections of hats, outerwear, youth and adult t-shirts and sweatshirts, mugs, stickers, license plates, stadium blankets, pennants, and much more.

Show your support for Finlandia University and your pride in our student-athletes with these high quality products.
