Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping has one of the most beautiful views of the Mackinaw Bridge in the area. The campground has many vantage points from which to wile away the hours enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake with it's many birds and passing boats. There are many roads for biking and trails for hiking and we especially enjoyed how clean and well cared for the whole campground is.

One of the prettiest parks we have stayed at. The views of Lake Huron and the Straits Bridge are awesome. This is our second visit and plan to return when able.

Our trip to Mackinac Island from the park turned out to be a great day. First we were able to pick up our boat tickets at the park office and then a shuttle bus picked us up and delivered us to the pier. Didn't have to stand in line at the ticket office.
When we arrived on the Island we did a quick walk around the downtown and then to the horse drawn tolley to see the sites. Felt it was money well spent. We visited a museum, butterfly house, unique scenery, and the fort. Not hard to find a great place to eat. Then had to do a long walk to wear off the food. Hated to board the boat for the return but had to admit it was a great day on the Island.

WHAT A GREAT AREA TO VISIT. We have been staying at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping and traveling around the area. The park has lots of things for the kids, swimming pool, three playgrounds, a beach, and lots of roads for bike riding. Not far away is a waterpark. The HIstoric Mill Creek just south of the park offers a look back and for those looking for a thrill a zip line.. As adullts we enjoy the scenery in the area, the great places to eat, and history offered of the area. Visited the light house, and fort. Over the bridge we traveled to Sault St.Marie to the locks. also visited the Casino in St. Ignace. There are several light houses within a day trip. So if you are traveling with kids or just adults. you can always find something interesting and fun to do in the area.
