The staff was in no hurry to assets anyone. The food was less than par. The breakfast buffet was over priced. All around the experience was not enjoyable to say the least. I would second guess your decision for breakfast at Anna's.
My wife and I stopped by for dinner at about 8 PM looking for a buffet. The restaurant looked almost closed and we walked in and it took a few minutes for anyone to notice us. The buffet looked as though it had not been attended to in hours. The lettuce on the salad bar was browning and the spinach was very rubbery. A tray of corn was very crusty on the top and the carrots were extremely mushy. The meats on the buffet were dried. Things were not labeled at all. The price for the dinner buffet was way too high for what was offered, especially the quality and maintenance of what was offered. The waitress knew that we were unhappy and did not pay attention to us the rest of the time we were there. We waited and waited for her to come by to ask for a check and finally put our money on the table and left. I cannot speak for the entrees in the restaurant.....but if you are going there for a decent buffet......go elsewhere! We will be back frequently to Mackinac City but will never venture into this place again. Hoping I can save you the same experience. We are not picky eaters either have never posted a bad comment before.
