I found photos of this place as a bar going back to the dawn of photography. Lots of ancient echos of the past here. An unexpected place to get a great meal. Very good food. Onion Rings here rock! Perch sandwich!!!! Even Caesar Salad had tender warm chicken that tasted great.

Little bar on the main strip of downtown with great burgers and friendly servers. As local as local can be. Visit if you want a glimpse into the real Mackinaw City.

Food was great, but we had a horrid waitress last time we went. She took forever to take our order, bring our food, and we never got drink refills. When it was time to pay, we waited nearly 10 minutes, while she kept passing by the table without acknowledging us. I finally had to hunt her down, then had to go up to the bar to pay because she didn't come back to collect.

Anyone less honest would have walked out. Come to find out, Tracy is related to the owner. The next day as I was reviewing my funds for the trip, I realized we were over charged by almost $5 on my debit card. When I called, I was told very abruptly that it wasn't the bar's fault, and to contact my bank, then I was hung up on.

Rude doesn't begin to cover the level of service. The food was great, but I doubt I'll ever go back based on the level of customer care they exhibit.
